Patient information

Before your visit

A little practical information to make your first appointment straightforward.

Your first visit

Your first appointment is an unhurried consultation and examination. Dr Wu will ask about your medical and dental history, listen to any concerns, and examine your teeth, gums, and bite. Radiographs are taken only where they are clinically helpful.

From there, he will explain what he has found in plain terms. If treatment is advisable, the options are set out clearly, along with what each involves, and a fee is quoted before anything proceeds.

  • Please arrive a few minutes early for your first appointment
  • Bring a list of any medications you take, and details of relevant medical conditions
  • If you have recent dental records or radiographs, these are helpful but not essential
  • Allow a little extra time for a first visit, as the consultation is unhurried

Fees

Every patient and every mouth is different, so fees depend on the treatment that is actually needed. For this reason prices are not listed here.

What is always true is that fees are quoted before treatment begins. After your examination, you will be given a clear estimate for any recommended treatment, with time to consider it. There is no obligation to proceed.

Payment methods

  • Cash
  • EPS
  • Visa & Mastercard
  • FPS / electronic transfer

Changing an appointment

If you need to change or cancel an appointment, a little notice — ideally at least 24 hours — allows the time to be offered to another patient. A message by WhatsApp or telephone is all that is needed.

Frequently asked questions

Many adults are seen once or twice a year for an examination and scaling, but the right interval depends on the condition of your teeth and gums. Dr Wu will suggest a schedule that suits you.
